Bloombase Achieves Dell Technology Partner Certification for Next Generation Data At-Rest Encryption Security

Sunnyvale, California – January 22, 2014 - Bloombase, the Next Generation Data Security company from Physical/Virtual Datacenter, through Big Data and to the Cloud, today announced that it has been officially recognized as a certified Dell Technology Partner. With this certification, Bloombase becomes one of the first Dell Technology Partners in the data governance solution space to offer encryption security solutions certified with Dell storage.

Bloombase offers a standard-based encryption platform to help enterprises protect their complex heterogeneous enterprise storage infrastructure on multiple protocols (including but not limited to CIFS, NFS, iSCSI and FCP). Bloombase data at-rest security software appliance (NIST FIPS 140-2 validated), eliminates vendor lock-in, achieves wide coverage in storage protection, and fulfills compliance with stringent data security regulations cost-effectively.

“By using Bloombase data at-rest solutions with Dell server and storage products, customers with strict requirements for data privacy, integrity, and regulatory compliance are able to remain secure while keeping pace with data growth,” Sean Xiang, Bloombase CEO explained.

Bloombase StoreSafe is a software platform that provides unified data at-rest encryption of enterprise storage systems. Whereas legacy point products often require significant application changes, Bloombase delivers data privacy and operational efficiencies. With Bloombase next generation data security solutions, even the most complex and throughput demanding storage services will benefit from the privacy and integrity assurance capabilities for data availability, security and scalability.
The interoperability testing was done on storage systems including the Dell EqualLogic FS7610 and Dell Compellent FS8610 network attached storage (NAS) appliances with the Dell Fluid File System (FluidFS) and a Dell Compellent storage area network (SAN) with Bloombase StoreSafe running on Dell PowerEdge servers under supervision and support of ISV Engineering Team of Dell Global Solution Labs located in Round Rock, Texas.
