Bloombase joins with SNIA to accelerate adoption of storage security
HONG KONG SAR, PRC - Jul 7, 2005, Hong Kong - Bloombase Technologies announced today they join with Storage Networking Industry Association (SNIA) China with attempt to accelerate adoption of storage encryption to network storage systems.
Networked storage is a mission critical technology within the IT infrastructure, since the IT era, corporate assets slowly experienced a paradigm shift from real assets to information. Enterprises cannot risk exposing their confidential data to third parties nor they can tolerate unauthorized tampering which yields data storage pollution.
Bloombase Technologies develops and markets Spitfire StoreSafe network storage encryption appliance. Spitfire StoreSafe is a standalone storage appliance with hardware accelerated cryptographic capability to encrypt storage data as they are written to storage device and decrypt as they are read. Spitfire StoreSafe protects databases, corporate digital assets, user files, business and financial data, archives, invaluable intellectual property, user credentials and email storage from prying eyes and tampering.
SNIA-China's technology center is housed with rich network storage resources and equipment for interoperability testing and technical support for network storage related technologies and products.
